‘Wayward Pines’ season 2, episode 6 video: Fleeing the fires

At the end of this past episode of “Wayward Pines,” some of our characters learned a not-so-welcome thing when it comes to the Abbies: They are capable of evolving in some interesting, unexpected ways … or at least doing things that are not expected.

In the video below (first posted by Entertainment Weekly), you can see a little bit of insight into what happens after some of the Abbies start to begin their fiery revolution on the outside of the fence. Basically, it’s going to lead to an escape plan, and an attempted regrouping that happens as things get a little bit crazy. As for what brought this about, it’s easy to theorize that maybe Margaret the female Abbie was involved somehow … but how would be a mystery, since this is something that we haven’t quite seen before from these characters.

For the remainder of this season, we’re viewing this mostly as an exploration, or some sort of attempt to get to know some of these characters a little bit better, and precisely what they are capable of doing. We definitely understand that they can cause a little bit of chaos, so how the residents of the town respond to this will be the next order of business.

We’re going to have some other news right away when it comes to the second season of the show, so stay tuned! This will include a review that is coming up not too long after the installment comes to a close.
