‘Blindspot’ season 2 spoilers: Prepare for young version of Jaimie Alexander’s Jane
We know that the core of “Blindspot” is effectively all about getting to know the character of Jane Doe, so doesn’t it seem right that we start to learn even more about her past? We think so, and for the sake of this article, we’re talking about something that is a fairly significant leap back in time.
According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, the NBC series is looking for a young actress, preferably within the ages of 9 to 11, to play a younger version of this character made famous by Jaimie Alexander as an adult. The child should have a background in gymnastics and martial arts, and to go along with that be capable of doing a South African accent. While this is a very specific combination of skills, hopefully it is something that an actress out there can pull off.
The second season of the show is coming to the network this fall, and based on some early notifications we have seen, we currently have the expectation that this is going to be a batch of episodes that will finally give us that opportunity to learn more about Jane. Not only that, but we anticipate that this new season will give us a great chance to see some other characters as well.
Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to learn this character’s casting in due time; for now, just be sure to stay tuned, as we hope to have a bevy of updates as we get further and further along in this summer hiatus.
