‘Luke Cage’ to preview footage with Mike Colter at San Diego Comic-Con
We know that Netflix is getting ready to unleash “Luke Cage” on the world a little bit later this year. With that being said, the folks over at Netflix have been incredibly cagey in terms of releasing much information on it. Sure, we got to know the character (played by Mike Colter) over on “Jessica Jones,” but we still have not had an opportunity to hear his story.
This is going to be changing coming up in the near future. According to a report from Deadline, the show will be heading to San Diego Comic-Con this year alongside executive producer Cheo Hodari Coker and co-star Alfre Woodward to preview the upcoming season. There will be some sort of sneak peek shown off, so fans will get a sense as to what more of the series will look like.
More than anything else, we know that anticipation is high to see this show in action. While we’d say that there was a polarizing reaction in places to “Daredevil” season 2, the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the most part on Netflix has been very well-received. These shows have also been incredibly popular, and we will see more of Colter’s Cage not too long after this courtesy of “The Defenders,” which could start shooting not too long after “Iron Fist,” the project that is currently the top priority for the service.
We’ll have some other news coming up regarding the show; hopefully Netflix will release whatever they air at Comic-Con to the public not too long afterwards.
