‘Major Crimes’ season 5, episode 3 video: Sharon’s needle in a haystack
The next new episode of “Major Crimes” is coming your way on TNT Monday night, and based on the new promo for it below, it appears as though we’re set to get a particularly tricky case coming up “Foreign Affairs” that could challenge Sharon and her team like no other.
What’s one of the biggest issues with it? Ultimately, it ties into what is going to be an incredibly hard search for evidence beyond just a weapon, given that they are having to scour a rather enormous park for clues. As she puts it, this is basically a needle-in-a-haystack sort of scenario.
Hopefully, we will get a chance to see by the end of this some sort of resolution; given that this is “Major Crimes,” you can almost certainly count on it. We do know, though, that this case could eventually have some terrorism connections, and it is actually the FBI who calls in Sharon and the Major Crimes Division for help with this. They have certainly tackled big cases before, but we imagine that there is going to be an added sense of urgency based on some of the information that we know right now.
Ultimately, we’ll see what happens when the episode airs tomorrow night, but we anticipate it being a big one given that there is not another episode of the show airing until we get around to after the Fourth of July holiday. Clearly, TNT does not want to lose any viewers because of people doing other things, and understandably so.
