‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: The premiere title, stuffed full of nostalgia
For those who love references to the good ol’ days on “Once Upon a Time,” odds are that there is a lot to like about the season 6 premiere title. For more on that, you don’t have to look any further than below.
In a post on Twitter, you can see show creator Adam Horowitz make it clear that “The Savior” is going to be the name for the very first episode of the show, and when it comes to titles alone, that is a tremendously exciting prospect for the hour as a whole. It’s a chance to touch on themes that we haven’t touched on in a while, but there is still one question that probably shines through more so than any other: Who exactly is the Savior that we’re talking about here?
For much of the earlier part of the series, it was fairly clear that the Savior was none other than Emma Swan, given that she was the one who was appointed ready and capable of stopping the Evil Queen once and for all. It was a difficult mission for her to try to complete, but she clearly did it! From there, the focus clearly changed over to Regina Mills, who throughout season 5 took on more of the hero role. There were questions in the finale, especially after the death of Robin, as to if she would revert back to her old ways, but the good news there is that this did not come to pass.
