‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Vicki Gunvalson, Kelly Dodd bond a little

There is a new episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” airing on Monday night, and apparently, at least one part of the episode is going to be Vicki Gunvalson doing her best to try and befriend the latest member of the cast in Kelly Dodd.

Really, the sneak peek below is all about the two of them going out to eat at a surprisingly-empty restaurant, and in the process learning a thing or two about each other. It’s a nice little bonding moment for the two of them, and we feel like for Vicki in particular, this is probably especially appreciated since she did not exactly have the most friendships in the world coming out of last season. She opens up about her quest to be happy again, especially when it comes to moving on from Brooks.

Do we think there will be any sort of long-term ramifications that come out of this moment? It’s possible, at least in the form of Vicki needing to figure out precisely whether or not Kelly can be an ally of sorts for the remainder of the season. In some ways, it may be essential to have Kelly and Vicki be friends for the sake of cultivating future conflict on this season, and ensuring that she is involved in outings and the like if many of the other women are not talking to her.
