‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Rocky Carroll, David McCallum ink new deals
While we’re not going to say that there was ever any serious concern that there was going to be some sort of a changing of the guard coming with “NCIS” following Michael Weatherly’s exit, it is nice to know that the majority of the main cast is now locked in for some time to come.
As first reported by Deadline, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum have all signed up to be a part of the show for both the 14th and 15th season. There was never any sign that these deals would not be locked down, but of course we’re a little cagey on reporting such things early following what happened with Cote de Pablo years ago. The show has already been renewed by CBS through season 15, so this keeps the actors simpatico with how long the show ultimately could end up lasting.
Of these four cast members, Perrette and McCallum have been there from the very beginning, while Murray joined fairly early on in the first season. Carroll first joined in season 5, but has become a huge part of the show as Leon Vance and eventually has also become a director for select episodes of the show (somewhat ironic given his character’s position).
New episodes are going to air in September, and it has already been announced that Wilmer Valderrama of “That 70’s Show” fame is going to be coming on as a new series regular, playing an agent returning to DC after a deep cover mission.
