‘Wayward Pines’ season 2 spoilers: To stop an escape

As we get further and further into this season of “Wayward Pines,” the one thing that feels clear more so than anything is that the Abbies almost seem to be at the center of this story just as much as the humans. We’ve had a chance to see more of the beginnings of the town, and in turn, some of the connections that the Abbies have to each other. One of the big reveals came at the end of this past episode, where we had a chance to see Margaret apparently have an interesting connection to some of the other Abbies.

While we do not necessarily have any specific scoop regarding the next new episode of the show right now, we can at least offer up some more info right now regarding the upcoming July 13 episode of the series, which carries with it the title of “Pass Judgment.” Take a look at the attached synopsis:

“Theo teams up with Hassler to track the escaped Abbie leader; Xander confronts Rebecca about her condition and Jason learns devastating news about Kerry.”

Clearly, there is going to be a lot going on right now, but the main question we wonder is simple: What is the endgame here? Are we going to have a chance to see the Abbies establish some sort of further power within this world? They’re a group that is still so unknown that anything is still possible for them.
