There is a new episode of “Bones” airing on Fox Thursday night, but the bad news that we’ve got for you is that there’s not exactly going to be another one coming up in the reasonably near future.
Next week, the show is going to go off the air due to the Fourth of July holiday creeping up. Clearly, there is someone working as an executive at Fox who felt like it was a bad move to put an episode on close to that while people were traveling. The same also apparently goes for the week after on July 7. There is no new episode until July 14, and that will be the first of two episodes to close out the season.
We were certainly hoping to have some other news today regarding the next new episode, but unfortunately, the network did not release a synopsis in advance. What we do at least know is that for the finale, there will be some sort of extremely dangerous threat, and it will help to create some tension before the final season begins in the new year. We are truly in the hone stretch now with less than 20 episodes to go until it all wraps up. That’s a cause worthy of getting a little emotional about, isn’t it? We can only imagine how we’ll feel when we are weeks away from the series finale.
Rest assured we’ll have some further information on the future of the show, and also some potential returning characters or familiar themes, the moment that it is available.
