‘Outlander’ season 2, episode 12 video: Jamie, Claire prepare for latest battle

There are only two episodes left for “Outlander” this season, and of course the thought of that is crazy and emotional in itself. We don’t have a whole lot of time left before we get presumably to that point where Claire goes through the stones again. We saw it in the premiere, and we have to figure out now how to get from point A to point B.

Before that, though, there is one other order of business that needs to be attended to in the Battle of Culloden. History dictates precisely what happens with this battle, and it is something that Claire is incredibly afraid of, given her attachment that she has formed to many of the people fighting as a part of the Jacobite army. Saturday Jamie is going to do his part to try and turn the tide, even though presumably this will not be a particularly easy thing for him to figure out.

“As Jamie puts all of his efforts into turning the Jacobite army away from the impending slaughter at Culloden Moor, Claire attempts to comfort the sick Alex Randall.  She is stunned when Alex reveals an outrageous plan to save the mother of his child.”

Is it possible that we will lose some more characters? Definitely, mostly because this is the sort of world we’re in right now. We’re not a book reader, so we cannot approach the show with that knowledge; instead, we’re preparing to be surprised.
