‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Alfredo and Anna Silva prove to be incredible act
On tonight’s new episode of “America’s Got Talent,” rest assured that you are going to see one of the scariest acts we’ve seen in quite some time. It also just so happens to be one of the best.
In a sneak peek over on Facebook, you can have an opportunity to check out the audition from Alfredo and Anna Silva, a couple who are going to be competing on the show tonight with an incredibly unique talent: Knife-throwing. Alfredo is the master thrower of the two of them, and his wife comes up with challenging ways to test him at this skill.
We’ve seen a number of other knife-throwing danger acts over the years, so fundamentally there is not really anything about this that is all that different with one key exception: The way in which Anna positions herself. It’s different than any other knife-throwing act we’ve seen, especially the part of it where she darts around and he has to time his throws specifically to prevent her from being hurt. We’ve seen the stuff with fire before, but we’ve never seen anything like this.
Could this get a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell? We’d love to see it, in part because they’re really good and also because the entire collection of buzzers so far this season has gone to singers. Variety is the spice of life, and it is also woven into the very fabric of this show. If you lose that, it really doesn’t feel the same.
