‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 3 preview: What lies ahead for Chandler, Slattery?

Tonight, “The Last Ship” returned to TNT with an episode that probably did quite a bit when it comes to establishing the new order of things in the world. After all, we got a chance to see Chandler and his crew off to effectively a new start in a new place, working to ensure the future of humanity (all of it) could be intact courtesy of the cure. What happens when people start to hoard it and/or use it the wrong way? We got a good sense of that over the course of the first two hours; not only that, but we saw Slattery in particular in an incredibly tough predicament.

So where do we go from here on the show? Think in terms of the next new episode entitled “Shanzai,” which certainly looks as though there will be some political conflicts and also Slattery’s present situation. The synopsis below gives you some other news regarding what could be coming up next:

“Chandler and crew race to find answers in an Asian Dodge City. Slattery begins to unravel the truth about his troubling predicament.”

In the promo below, you can see specifically the sort of drama that is happening with some of these characters now that they’ve been forced to deal with their new hand. Specifically, Slattery’s in huge danger thanks to his captivity, and on the medical side of things, the team is still coping with the loss of Rachel (which we’re still utterly shocked by).
