‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 4 video: Jane and Maura’s ‘Post Mortem’ problems

The next new episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” is coming your way on Monday, and while we know there are some serious times ahead for some of our characters, the promo below puts the focus a little more on humor.

Specifically, what happens when Jane meets her equal when it comes to the federal government? We’re going to get a prime opportunity to find out as she tries to investigate what happened to someone within the world of the postal service. There will be someone from a higher level also there investigating, and the two could have a few stand-offs and control issues along the way. Also, we’re going to have a rare situation where we could see some characters rooting for homicide; or, at least rooting against the idea of suicide.

This episode, on a more serious level, is going to contain Maura making some key decisions when it comes to her future. We hope that she gets a chance to sort some of that out sooner rather than later, given that the idea of her still struggling with the aftermath of her injury the remainder of the season is something that depresses us. Also, we want to see Maura at full strength, doing precisely what she does best by the time we get to the end of the road here. There are only so many stories left for viewing this season, and the remainder of these episodes have to be viewed through that lens.
