2016 iHeartRadio MMVAs: Where to live stream red carpet pre-show
The Much Music Video Awards have become an annual tradition in Toronto for the aforementioned network, and are really Canada’s answer to the MTV Video Music Awards in the United States.
This year, the show is changing things up somewhat by branding itself with iHeartRadio, and they are now known as the iHeartRadio Music Music Video Awards, or the iHeartRadio MMVAs. It’s a little bit of a complicated name, but hopefully this remains as entertaining a show for you as it has ever been.
The show (hosted by Gigi Hadid) starts later tonight, but we’ve got the hookup for you now if you are looking for a way to watch at least the red carpet for it online. If you head over here, you will be able to see the stream starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time or 5:00 p.m. Pacific. You’ll see some of the celebrities arrive to downtown Toronto, where they will be interviewed and meet the fans prior to the start of the show. This show tends to go for a little bit more of a fun, friendly atmosphere than many others, one where the celebrities are at least somewhat accessible as opposed to being entirely at arm’s length.
Hopefully, this show will also provide some opportunities for fans out there to relax and enjoy the music, especially given just how difficult a year it has been so far in 2016, whether it be losing icons like Prince or the horrific shooting that occurred in Orlando a little more than a week ago.
