‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Can Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow patch things up?

Vicki -Last season, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” was difficult to get through. It was emotional, at times repetitive, and we really did not think that there was a whole lot of room for some of the women to have fun. Or, even if they’re not having fun, just be civil for a while.

You see, what makes this show often effective is that it provides you with a mixture of a few different things. You do want that drama, but you want it to come from a place where people have something invested. For example, if everyone already hates each other, why do they care if they get into a fight? There’s nothing to really lose, and it is just TV drama for TV drama’s sake.

Thanks to all of this, we are glad to have a sneak peek below for Monday’s premiere episode showing Vicki Gunvalson in a more contrite state than we are accustomed to seeing her. We know that last season, much of her story was overwhelmed by conflict courtesy of Brooks Ayers, including whether or not he was legitimately suffering from cancer. Since that season Vicki and Brooks have went their separate ways, and she is now admitting that she had the wrong read on things.

Here, she specifically asks Heather Dubrow if the two of them can be friends again in the wake of everything that has happened. She wants to move forward, and she makes it clear that she is sorry. As for whether or not said apology is accepted, you’ll have to wait until the episode to find out!
