‘Wayward Pines’ season 2 spoilers: CJ looks at his past and much more
The second season of “Wayward Pines” has certainly underwent quite a few different reinventions so far over the course of its run, and as we get deeper into this season, we certainly could see that yet again. One of the bigger storylines playing out in the present is trying to uncover the role or importance of the female Abbies, and who knows? The discoveries there could play a huge role in the stories that come the rest of the way this season.
The one thing that we do know for certain is that there is going to be some significant divide and conflict coming up. You can look below to see the first synopsis for “Time Will Tell,” the upcoming seventh episode of the season (airing July 6) that will feature CJ’s story, more on the Abbies, and a whole lot more than that:
“Theo and Megan disagree over the Abbies’ intelligence, as the doctor attempts to communicate with their leader. Then, an underestimation has deadly consequences. Also, CJ reflects on his life and the great responsibilities he’s had over the centuries.”
This is the sort of episode that you have to believe will be memorable, and one that will set the stage for an enormous conclusion. After all, it’s not like “Wayward Pines” is some show that sticks around on the air for a lengthy period of time. These are short seasons, and with that, we expect things to move rather quickly as we try to figure out where things could go by the end of this story.
