‘Royal Pains’ season 8 spoilers: First look at series finale

For everyone who is enjoying this final season of “Royal Pains,” there is this sad reality around every corner that we are near the end of the road. There are only a few episodes of the series left, and on Wednesday, July 6, the story will be coming to a close with an episode entitled “Uninterrupted” that could be all about changes. The synopsis below certainly seems to be an indication of that:

“Boris prepares to leave the Hamptons forever and asks Hank to join him. Hank contemplates life changes. Evan and Paige consider a life-altering decision. Divya gets long-awaited news.”

Personally, we do hope that the show does not just end with Hank up and leaving the Hamptons after eight years, mostly because of the irony that would paint. He has waited so long to put down roots in the area that having him leave now would be almost akin to him completely going back on his decision; also, there is only so much time that he can travel around the world with Boris. We’d love see HankMed remain, but in a more stable environment where he starts to prepare more for his future, much in the same way that his own brother Evan has been over the years.

Ultimately, it’s a little hard to sit around and speculate as to how the series is going to end, especially given that so much of the fun is going to be about just actually watching it all unfold live.
