‘Reign’ season 4 spoilers: Meet Narcisse’s son!

Even though it is not entirely clear just when the fourth season of “Reign” is going to premiere (after all, season 3 is still airing), we do have some other news regarding someone who will be making their presence felt in a big way.

According to Deadline “Bitten” actor Steve Lund is set to portray Luc, a character described as “a sexy, highborn rogue who is also a plain speaking realist. He’s a good guy who happens to have a morally compromised and very powerful father.” This character is the son of Narcisse, and should be interesting to watch in terms of his integration into the rest of the world.

There are a variety of reasons as to why we are getting so many new characters coming up in the fourth season, with one of the biggest ones being a mere matter of setting. After spending much of the first three seasons in France, we are moving for to a primarily Scottish setting. Also, we lost Francis earlier this season, and we already know that Torrance Coombs won’t be a regular for the fourth season, either. That does leave some holes that need to be filled, and there will be a need for some further recurring faces to go along with that.
