‘Longmire’ season 5: See Katee Sackhoff’s behind-the-scenes tour!
Just in case you both love “Longmire” and have a little bit of extra time today, Katee Sackhoff has given you a rather awesome and lovely gift: A new look behind the scenes at some of the sets used in the Netflix show!
If you head over here, you can check out a full Periscope that she conducted earlier in the day from the New Mexico set, complete with some iconic locations and some really fun tidbits. If you haven’t seen much when it comes to matters of production, this is a really informative video! If you just love the show, then it is worth watching on the basis of that and that alone.
For the “Longmire” faithful, really the best thing here is that this is something to enjoy while you continue to wait for the show to ultimately premiere with all of season 5 later this fall. As per usual, new episodes will premiere all at once, and we will be reviewing a new episode daily for the week and a half following the show’s premiere. Hopefully, Netflix will also release some sort of official trailer later this summer.
As for production, the show is starting to near the end; hopefully, this won’t be the last time that the cast and crew gets together, either. There’s no confirmation about the future of “Longmire” beyond season 5, but we like to think Netflix would be gracious enough to announce this was the final season in advance if that was their intent.

I’m so excited for September 23rd. I absolutely love everything about Longmire from beginning to end. Everyone associated with the show is so talented from script storylines to those who perform and the sets, music all around one of the VERY BEST SHOWS television has to offer. Longmire has heart and soul that 99% of other tv does not offer. PLEASE PLEASE keep this cast and show going for more then another season, it should have at a minimum another decade of scripts to be written and produced, Netflix please keep Longmire on your list of productions.

Can’t wait for Season 5. Can’t imagine how this program got dropped in the first place. Great stories and great acting but instead of this on regular tv we get more realty shows. That is why I have been changing a lot of my viewing to Netflix.
