‘Person of Interest’ series finale trailer: Will Finch die before mission is complete?

We knew that there would need to be some sacrifices on the “Person of Interest” series finale Tuesday night, but we obviously hoped that these sacrifices would not end up leading to the loss of a beloved character.

Yet, here were are discussing the new trailer HERE for the big series finale airing Thursday, which is an installment that could mean the end of the road for Michael Emerson’s character of Finch. You see him bloodied-up in this video, along with him proclaiming that he never imagined that he would find so much friendship in the partnerships he first formed over the Machine so many years ago. You also have what seems to be a cemetery scene, and some further evidence of a massive gunfight.

Ultimately, this trailer seems meant to be nostalgic more so than anything else, since you get a little bit of footage from the earlier days of the show, and some moments to remind you of why you loved “Person of Interest” in the first place. It was action-packed, thought-provoking, and it did much more for the procedural genre than almost any other crime show over the past few years. It’s also done a good job of introducing serialized elements that don’t feel out of place in this world.

Of course, we imagine that there will be more to share about this show before the finale, so be sure to be on the lookout for that over the coming days…
