Yolanda Hadid leaving ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ after four seasons
Consider this one of the bigger reality TV departure announcements we’ve seen in some time. Despite being a huge component of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” due to her battle against Lyme disease and also some questions that Lisa Rinna and others had about her condition, Yolanda Hadid has now confirmed that she is exiting the hit Bravo series.
The reality star confirmed this news in a post on Instagram, making it clear that his was a “choice” for her to go rather than Bravo forcing her out; also, she reflected on the time in which she did spend as a part of the program:
“I would have loved a more graceful exit then ‘Season 6’ but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life … I am leaving what’s over without denying its past importance in my life.”
This is not the first change that we’ve had for this upcoming season, as Kathryn Edwards (who was only on the show one year) will also not be returning. The reaction to Yolanda’s exit is much more severe, mostly because we feel like there was a sentiment out there of people who wanted to see her in a better place this season, proving many of the other women wrong and continuing to live her life in the best way possible.
The new season of the show may premiere as early as late 2016, and we hope that it refocuses things slightly and gives you a new series of interesting storylines that focus on what we at least consider to be the real strength of the show: Humorous takes on the rich and famous.
