‘Big Brother 18’ cast spotlight: Does Zakiyah Everette have potential to go far?
Below, you can see more of what we think about her game, and what makes her an interesting character from the jump.
Facts to know – She’s a 24-year old preschool teacher from Charlotte, she’s interested in furthering her education still, and she has a good sense of humor about herself and her game.
Show history – She claims that she has watched the show since the third season, and we don’t think she would make that up if for whatever reason she hand’t. This is not one of those people who just came in during sequester watching a season or two.
Past houseguest comparison – We don’t really think that there is necessarily any one-for-one comparison from recent seasons, but she is probably a mixture of Frank Eudy, Jun Song, and Da’Vonne from last season. She’s got some of the humor, but is also self-aware and seems to know what it takes to win the game.
Clear weakness – She claims that it will be her mouth, and if she knows that going in, there’s a good chance that it will be. There will be times when Zakiyah is going to want to tell someone off for being an idiot in the game (it happens), but she’ll have to figure out a way to stay silent.
Early prediction – Zakiyah could win this game. We think she’s got the entire package. She’s aggressive, but we think she won’t be a big target right away. People will want to work with her, she will be willing to work her social game, and she won’t be a target. So long as she keeps herself in check we think she’s got a really good chance.
