‘Wayward Pines’ season 2, episode 4 review: Adam’s return; is Ben really dead?
There are many surprises that exist within the world of “Wayward Pines” on Fox, but we gotta admit that one of the biggest ones may have just been seeing Adam return looking very much like he could be some sort of secret caveman.
Tonight’s episode was about more than just a bearded man, though, as we got some more confirmation on Ben … and it wasn’t good news. It definitely now appears more than ever before that we’ve lost the guy, which once again proves that if you were on the first season of the show, odds are that you’re probably not living long here. However, at the same exact time, you can make arguments (we guess) that you didn’t seen this or that, and this is a TV landscape where characters often return. For now, though, we are strongly in the “he’s dead” camp.
We admit that Jason is becoming a more interesting character over time, and when it comes to the people within the town, we’re starting to enjoy the story more. Here’s the problem with tonight: We would be 100% fine of the whole procreation nonsense wasn’t a part of this, mostly because it wasn’t powerful enough storytelling to justify precisely how uncomfortable it was to watch. It certainly does make Megan even less likable of a character, so if that is your goal, success! We at least had an interesting cliffhanger with the lights going out, and there being at least one Abbie now within the town.
Ultimately, the great news we’ve got for “Wayward Pines” is that it is starting to find its voice a little bit in its second season, even if it has taken a little bit of time for this to happen. As for whether or not this is going to be enough to satisfy season 1 fans, that is what we cannot tell you with absolute certainty right now. Grade: B-.

Last season was great but it had an amazing cast and was going towards something revealing the mystery of waywards pines. This season they’ve killed off everyone I liked from season 1 and most of the main characters I hate. I like the Doctor but in my opinion we don’t see enough of him. I personally was glad when Xander died and now that he’s back I’m mad its not Ben. This season seem to be going nowheres, its like its a completely different show from season 1. They should have had ben survive and team up with the Doctor against Jason that woud have been interesting. Instead we have to watch an epsiode where half the time is spent on a girl getting her period.

What’s going on with Wayward Pines? Lame, it doesn’t make any sense, all that procreation with underage kids, borders on child sex? Maybe they should use the (hopefully it was a female) Abbie to procreate. If this keeps up, I want Pilcher to come back

TIme to vote Meghan off. She has to go. Not a fan of the infidelity between the wife of Jackie Gleason’s grandson and Xander. Makes you wish the Abbies punched Xander right in the kisser.
