‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Danny Guthrie’s wife Rebecca reportedly among notable standouts

Now that the start of this “X Factor” UK season is upon us (at least from a production point of view), so of course that means that there are going to be a few teases and scoops that start to come out across the internet.

Today, we’re specifically here to talk about the arrival of Rebecca Guthrie, the wife of famous football player Danny Guthrie, who apparently more than impressed the judges with her audition. Per  a source from The Sun, she was looking to become a star for her own merit rather than just who she decided to marry:

“When she told the judges she was a WAG, no one expected what followed. The buzz about her went around the place very quickly. People were talking about her as a potential winner. The judges were blown away. She told them she was married to a professional footballer but wanted to make a name in her own right.”

If she is as good as advertised in this report, odds are you’re going to be hearing a little bit more about her a little later this year when “The X Factor” returns with new episodes. There’s no firm premiere date just yet, but anticipate it coming on at some point in August or September. Until then, be sure to check back for some more news!
