‘BreadDead’ spoilers: When craziness strikes on live TV

If you had a chance to witness the series of premiere of “BrainDead” earlier this week, then you already get the sense that this is not entirely a world where all of the rules make sense all of the time. Sure, there is a political reality that it is grounded in, but at the same time there is also this odd sort of pseudo-reality where there are these bugs crawling into the brains of prominent politicians. It’s changing the world of Washington DC, but in a way that is oddly hilarious, compelling, and certainly biting.

What we’ve got for you below are some further details about a story that is going to be important later this season, and it is the third one to air. The title is “Goring Oxes: How You Can Survive the War on Government Through Five Easy Steps,” and you can get the full synopsis for it below:

“When a bizarre and deadly incident takes place on live television, Agent Onofrio’s (Charlie Semine) investigation into it causes Laurel, Gustav and Rochelle to dig deeper into the bug mystery. Also, Luke attempts to cover up his affair with his Chief of Staff, Scarlett (Paige Patterson), before his opponent for the minority whip position, Senator Ella Poundstone (Jan Maxwell), can make it public.”

Will this episode solve any mysteries? Probably not, since it is only episode 3; however, it could start to accelerate some stories that do continue to play out further as we get further and further into the summer.
