It has been many months now since the first season of “Zoo” wrapped up on CBS, and in that amount of time, we’ve definitely had quite a bit of time to try and digest the wide array of events that we saw unfold.
Moving into the second season premiering on Tuesday, June 28, one thing feels fairly clear: The animal threat is going to be more present than ever … but not in the same way that it once was. We’re going to see a mutation lead potentially to a transformation, which in turn could cause our characters to face a threat from within. Things are going to get shocking, deadly, and hopefully pretty action-packed before the season comes to a close. We just hope that they remain thoroughly entertaining more so than anything else, given that CBS needs a good scripted summer show right now. The jury’s still out on “BrainDead,” and most of their other scripted programs last year did not come back other than this one.
If you didn’t get the chance prior to right now to get some more details on the premiere, our advice for you is to take a look at the synopsis below:
“The danger escalates as the animal mutation moves to phase two, and they begin attacking infrastructure and creating deadly environmental phenomena in an effort to make the planet uninhabitable. Also, the team discovers a shocking mutation that threatens the life of one of their own on a special two-hour premiere.”
