‘Ballers’ season 2 video: Dwayne Johnson, cast talk new photo shoot

The season 2 premiere of “Ballers” is going to be coming to HBO on Sunday, July 17, but in preparation of that, the network is of course doing their part to promote the series in the best ways possible.

This, in turn, brings us to the new video below, where you can a behind-the-scenes look at the new season 2 photo shoot featuring Dwayne Johnson and the majority of the cast members. Johnson specifically talks about some of the different looks that they are going for, and how they want this in many ways to be reflective of the read world of the show, and also of the sports community. Apparently, one of the poses involves having Dwayne (as Spencer) sitting inside an ice bath, which has to be one of the more uncomfortable things he has done for a shoot like this.

Story-wise, we absolutely do expect matters to be somewhat similar to how they were in season 1, mostly in that there are going to be some major business highs for the cast, but also some lows as they figure out how to navigate what are at times so extremely tricky waters. After all, you just have to remember here that you are navigating some incredibly difficult egos, and there are some people who aren’t going to want to listen to anything that Spencer or his colleagues has to say.
