‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Yolanda Hadid releasing book on Lyme disease struggle
Throughout much of this past season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Yolanda Hadid and her struggle with Lyme disease became one of the big storylines to follow. While she was working to ensure that it did not impact her life, she had to deal with some of her co-stars questioning the legitimacy of her claims. Not only that, but she also ended up having her marriage to David Foster end. It was a tumultuous time, and she has apparently found a new way to channel much of what transpired for her in the form of a new book entitled Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability Lyme Disease.
Per “Entertainment Tonight,” the book is scheduled to hit shelves in 2017, and you can see the official description for it right now below:
“While doctors continued to dismiss her pain and friends debated about her health diagnosis, Yolanda realized her mission and higher purpose of her journey is to use her newfound platform to educate, and bring awareness to the stigma surrounding chronic Lyme in order to bring hope to other sufferers who have been misdiagnosed and battling the invisible disability of chronic disease in general.”
The title here seems to be a reference both to her dealing with her doctors and also her having to deal with her own co-stars questioning her. We certainly don’t blame her for finding a new way to express some of what she went through, and we also anticipate that she will have many opportunities ahead to discuss it further.
