‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ cast spotlight: Who is Izzy Goodkind?
With the reveal of many “Bachelor in Paradise” cast members today, we’re going to start up a new series that, really, we’ve never quite done before with this show. We’re busting out some spotlights! Even though the show doesn’t premiere for some time still, we’ll be spending some time discussing some of the contestants, their previous experience on the show, and whether they are a good fit either for romance or when it comes to bringing something crazy to the table.
Today, we’re kicking things off with Izzy Goodkind, if for no other reason than that we imagine there are quite a few people out there at present who really do not have much of an idea as to who she actually is. She’s easily the most forgettable person in the initial release.
Show experience – She was out the first night on Ben Higgins’ season. Seriously. There have been other contestants from this show to go home early their original season (see Lacy Faddoul); as you can see below, she arrived in a onesie on the first night. Also, Lace made fun of her for it in a confessional, which means they’ll probably get along great on the show.

Romance Potential – High. Like the flagship show, we feel like the producers cast with two different priorities in mind: Finding people who could actually have a relationship at the end of the show, and finding people who are going to burn down the house. We saw little villain potential with Izzy the first time, so obviously producers see that there’s something here that makes her an interesting contender for some guy in Paradise. Also, maybe they think viewers will rally behind her.
Drama Potential – Moderately, only because Lace is there. We don’t really know enough else about her to see her getting in any fights.
