‘Arrow’ season 5: Stephen Amell discusses Oliver, Felicity, and other developments

OliverIs there going to be something more down the pipe when it comes to Oliver and Felicity on “Arrow” season 5? We know that there is a great affection that is out there for these two characters among many; personally, we want to see them just together and happy without so much of the drama and the secrets like we got with Oliver’s kid. Bring us back some of the fun that these two had in season 2, except with more of a romantic edge.

Unfortunately, there’s not even any confirmation right now as to whether or not they are going to be getting together. All we have is what Stephen Amell said (per ComicBook.com) on the subject of a potential wedding (or at least re-coupling) while at Wizard World’s Philadelphia over the course of the weekend:

“I don’t know … I know that it was important, especially at the end of season four with everything that happened and with Laurel Lance’s death that their relationship get put on the back burner because I think that there were more pressing issues, obviously. So, I don’t know what’s gonna happen in season five. I do know that… I don’t believe that they begin season five together, so we’ll see where it goes from there.”

Will these two have a chance moving forward to be a couple? We’re reasonably hopeful that they can figure something out, but it’s going to take more than them being in close proximity with each other. Oliver has to not only win her back, but prove that he can be trusted. The two have to collectively put their best feet forward, and then try to go from there.
