‘Zoo’ season 2 spoilers: First look at two-hour premiere!
The season premiere of “Zoo” is going to be coming your way on CBS Tuesday, June 28, and it’ll be doing so with more than just your standard one-hour premiere. The first two episodes are airing on the night, and we will see what qualifies at least an attempt to resolve some of the recent changes in animal behavior.
As for whether or not this’ll be a success story, it’s hard to be confident when we’re talking about a premiere! What we can at least offer you for now is the first photo above from the new season, coupled with the attached synopsis:
“Following the dramatic shift in violent animal behavior, the team attempts to rescue Jamie and the leopard whose DNA may hold the key to curing the animal crisis. Also, the team discovers a shocking mutation that threatens the life of one of their own.”
One of the things that we’re most curious about when it comes to the second season is seeing precisely how the relationship between CBS and Netflix helps the ratings, if at all. This show had the benefit of being available for binge-watching for a rather long time, which in theory could help ensure that more viewers get hooked. Maybe that happens, but even if it doesn’t this relationship remains valuable as a way for the network to better monetize the show and help it stay on the air at a time in which ratings always have a tendency to be lower than at any other point in the year.
We will have some other news when it comes to “Zoo” over the course of the next few weeks, so stay tuned! For now, be sure to head over here if you want to get some other TV news on all we cover, sent right over to you via our official CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)
