‘Royal Pains’ season 8 video: Watch the cast, crew celebrate 100 episodes!

Wednesday night marks a new episode of “Royal Pains,” and it is definitely fair to say already that this is more than your average episode of the show. It’s a chance to celebrate 100 installments on the air, and based on everything we’ve got in the video below, there is every reason to think that this is something special.

In this sneak peek, cast members Mark Feuerstein, Paulo Costanzo and others detail precisely just how much they have enjoyed working on this show, how 100 episodes has come and gone so quickly, and also a few little hints sprinkled in here about what the story for this big milestone hour could be.

We’ve already seen in some promotional material that Hank is going to scrub in to work in a position that he has done in quite a long time, so there is going to be a flashback element to this hour that works in a really interesting way. It’s still the present, but you will be reminded about everything that came before. An appearance from a former cast member is only going to add to that.

In so many ways, you could really consider almost every episode coming up at this point to be special in one way or another, largely because there are only so many of them left. This season is just eight episodes, and the series finale is really just around the corner.
