‘Reign’ season 3, episode 17 preview: The story for Adelaide Kane, cast in ‘Intruders’
There are only two episodes left of “Reign” this season, and by the time we get to the big finale, we imagine that we’re going to see some more twists and turns. For now, the one thing that we do know is that Mary is going to find herself in a really unusual state, forcing to hide not only her identity, but also the fact that she is actually alive.
“Intruders” is the title for the next installment of the show, and for now, our suggestion is that you check out the synopsis below for some other insight:
“With Mary (Adelaide Kane) presumed dead, Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) enlists Lola’s (Anna Popplewell) help in taking the Scottish crown for herself, while Mary’s half-brother James (guest star Dan Jeannotte) must defend her throne from John Knox (guest star Jonathan Goad). Meanwhile, Mary comes face to face with Francis’s killer when she and Bash (Torrance Coombs) find themselves in the hands of a fearsome clan leader named Munro (guest star John Barrowman).”
Whatever happens at the end of the episode, we’re going to get a story that carries into the finale. We’re going to remain in Scotland by and large for season 4, and with that will come new characters and surprises. We just want to get some other things to be excited about, so who knows? Maybe we’re going to get a chance to see that sooner rather than later.
Also, we’re getting John Barrowman! Given how much we love his work on “Arrow,” we would be thrilled to see him have a meaty role here.
