‘Penny Dreadful’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Can Vanessa, Ethan come together?

We’re in the home stretch now of “Penny Dreadful” season 3, and it only makes some sense that at this point, we would start to get a good sense about what could be coming up now that some of our characters are reunited once more. The separation may be gone, but ultimately, the drama still remains! You get a great sense of that with Ethan and Vanessa in the promo HERE, to go along with a variety of other freaky events that could be coming courtesy of the Creature, Frankenstein and Jekyll, and some other notable names from our motley crew of folks from such familiar lore.

Ultimately, it does feel like this season could be going out with a few surprises, and at present, one of our biggest surprises is actually on a meta level not directly associated with the show itself: Why in the world hasn’t “Penny Dreadful” been renewed for a fourth season yet? It’s co-production lowers costs, so Showtime doesn’t have to worry as much there; also, it is one of their best-reviewed shows with a loyal following all over the world. Therefore, we can only hope that there will be some sort of announcement coming up!
