‘Gotham’ season 3: More on Bruce Wayne’s secret ‘lookalike’

The third season of “Gotham” is going to be coming up on Fox this fall, and we know that’s a long time to wait, especially when you consider the sort of cliffhanger that the show left us off on. Presumably many of the evil characters from season 2 are still alive, and more than that, there are more villains running rampant in Gotham than ever following the inmates in the bus getting released all over the city.

Specifically, there is one that is going to get the attention of many people out there, and intentionally so: A young man who looks suspiciously quite a bit like Bruce Wayne! This, as it turns out, is something that may be even more connected to much of this past season than you would first connect, judging from what executive producer John Stephens had to say to TVLine:

“[This reveal is] a development that is in line with all the other story we’ve been telling [in Season 2], but one piece that we’ve kept hidden.”

As for where it’ll go, that remains to be seen, but we have to imagine that it is something David Mazouz will be especially happy to play, especially if he proves himself to be a very different character than Bruce. We know that he’s a young man with at least something resembling a moral compass, even though he does drift outside the lines from time to time? What will it be like if this character is completely uninhibited? If nothing else, it’ll be a lot of fun to watch unfold!
