‘Teen Wolf’ season 6: Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes, others celebrate five years on the air!

Sure, you may have to wait for quite a while still for the premiere of “Teen Wolf” season 6 on MTV, but there is something else wonderful and worth celebrating today: The five-year anniversary of the show’s premiere!

Below, you can see a series of tweets from many cast members past and present, whether it be Tyler Posey, Cody Christian, or even Colton Haynes, whose exit was one of the most surprising headlines to come out of the show over the course of its run. This is a series that has really defined scripted programming for its network, and to go along with that, has attempted to really do some daring, interesting things.

As the show has progressed, it feels fairly safe to say that it has become more complicated and mature, taking on such issues as the afterlife, serious relationships, trust, and heartache. This will probably continue over the course of the coming years … even though it is still not entirely clear just how much time the show has left. We would like to think that it would have at least two more seasons in Beacon Hills, but who knows for sure? For the time being, we’d just take something along the lines of an official announcement as to when season 6 could start, or some additional story elements.

For now, all we can do is say “cheers” to five years, and hope that there are some more great stories coming up, regardless of however long the show is still around for.
