‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Kathryn Edwards reportedly out after one season

While we cannot say that the following bit of news is much of a surprise at all, it is still worth reporting that Kathryn Edwards is seemingly not part of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” any longer.

The news of Edwards’ exit comes courtesy of Us Weekly, and it happens after just one season on the Bravo series. The reason that this is hardly a surprise to us has very much to do with the sort of story that she had over the course f this past season. Even though there have been many years, even decades, since the OJ Simpson trial, she still talks about it like it was a significant part of her life. It just felt like this show was really trying to milk the success of the excellent “The People v. OJ Simpson” over on FX. Clearly,the story was up some viewers’ alley given that some out there seemed to enjoy having her on the show. However, for the most part we don’t think that she had particularly entertaining.

As for the remainder of the Housewives, that remains to be seen somewhat. We are hoping for there to be a return of Erika Girardi a.k.a. Erika Jayne, and to get confirmation regarding many of the other cast members who have been a part of the show for a while.
