‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Booth, Brennan tackle new high-profile case
Dealing with celebrities or political figures within the world of “Bones” is hardly something that is altogether new, but at the same time, the show does continue to find some new and clever ways to include them. We’ve seen this a few times this season already, and we’re going to get another chance to have this happen on “The Stiff in the Cliff,” the upcoming June 23 installment of the show.
Just as a means to get excited about this story early (hey, it does have Eugene Levy involved), we’ve got a synopsis for you below that is definitely worthy of checking out:
“When the remains of famous billionaire explorer Henry Charles are found in Antarctica, the high profile case is brought to Brennan and Booth to determine if his death was a murder. The Jeffersonian team confirms he was killed when he went missing ten years ago on an expedition, but the timeframe puts the Jeffersonian’s Dr. Clark Edison (guest star Eugene Levy), who was with Charles for the expedition, on the short list of suspects. Meanwhile, Cam’s sister comes into town to help with wedding plans and old family friction comes into the picture.”
Other than an interesting case and a few little wrinkles here and there, it is probably fair to say that this is a story that is very much vintage “Bones.” After all, it’s mixing together the case with some family stuff, throwing in an interesting guest star, and will probably throw you for a loop at least at one point. If standard episodes of the show are your cup of tea, it feels easy to presume you’ll be smiling from ear to ear by the end of this.
