‘Bones’ season 11, episode 19 preview: David Boreanaz’s Booth enters the rink
Tonight’s new episode of “Bones” is going to be a little bit of a detour for the show on Fox, given that we’re getting a chance to see the Booth / Brennan characters in a very different light curiosity of a documentary crew.
So where are we going next? How about hockey! The bad news is that there is a one-week hiatus on June 9, but when the show does come back on Thursday, June 16, it will be doing with “The Head in the Abutment,” a story that should appeal especially to all of the fans of the sport out there. This includes star David Boreanaz, and it’s with that in mind this could be a fun hour of TV.
If you haven’t seen the official synopsis just yet, take a look at it below:
“The team investigates the death of a popular professional hockey player whose headless corpse was dumped in the river. As Booth and Aubrey question the player’s coach (guest star Jeremy Roenick as himself), Booth’s depth of hockey knowledge is integral to solving the case, and he’s reunited with a hockey rival from his past, putting him back on the ice once again to face off against him. Meanwhile, Hodgins and Oliver (guest star Brian Klugman) have a competition of their own when Hodgins builds two drones and they compete to retrieve the victim’s missing head, and Booth and Brennan attempt to declutter their home.”
Maybe there will be a few dramatic elements to this episode, but when the dust settles, we really do think that this is going to be a particularly fun, memorable installment of this show. We’ll have more on it soon.
