‘Outlander’ season 2, episode 9 video: Another look at ‘Je Suis Prest’

Before we go any further, let’s provide a translation for the “Outlander” episode title above: “Je Suis Prest” means “I am ready,” and it is the motto of Jamie Fraser and by extension, his whole clan.

Now that we’ve gotten that matter out of the way, let us go ahead and focus now on the next order of business: Talking the promo below! At the end of this past episode, we saw Jamie and Claire manage to unite Lallybroch and the MacKenzie clan for the purposes of having a worthy army; they seem to be done with the notion of trying to curtail the Jacobite Rebellion, and are instead out to change history in their own way.

What do they have on their side? It really starts with Claire, given her knowledge of the future and some of what she can prepare for. From there, you also have a worthy warrior in Jamie and many proud soldiers ready to fight, but will it be enough? Well, readers of the books already know, but bear with us here. We do think the show has done a good job setting up this conflict for those unfamiliar with the story, and we are definitely rather excited to see precisely how this is all going to come to a close this season. We are starting to get now into the home stretch!
