MTV’s ‘Scream’ season 2, episode 2 preview: What lies ahead in ‘Psycho’

Tonight on MTV, we saw the official premiere of “Scream” season 2, and with that in mind, we certainly understand if you have some more questions regarding when it comes to what lies ahead. Hopefully, we have answers!

The first thing that we should point out here that is somewhat-surprising is that the show does seem intent, at least for now, when it comes to airing the drama at a later timeslot than anything else in 11:00 p.m. Eastern time. Why is MTV doing this? We presume that one of the biggest reasons for them is that there is a certain asset that comes with being on this late, where there is less competition and more of a chance for the show to stand on its own. Also, it’s not exactly like most of the network’s viewers are the sort that goes to bed early.

While the mini-synopsis below for next week’s “Psycho” (via TV Guide) doesn’t give away too much in terms of what is coming up next, it does set a really nice foundation:

“Tension results when Maggie shares too much about Emma’s past; Emma tries to control her fears when someone unexpected arrives in town; and Noah investigates a new lead for his podcast.”

Let’s hope that there are some more unexpected twists moving forward, especially since we know that there were some who saw the ending of season 1 coming. So long as we are shocked and/or thoroughly entertained, we’re going to be happy here in the end.
