‘Mistresses’ season 4, episode 2 preview: Harry’s sister arrives; more Robert the ‘manny’ drama

The fourth season of “Mistresses” is now officially upon us, and with that, we’re certainly getting quite the opportunity to see where some of these stories stand. For example, Joss has found some security in her personal life with Harry, but is it really bringing her happiness? That is something that is a little bit unclear. Meanwhile, April is starting to look towards a complicated financial future with Marc, and Karen has both an ambitious new job but then also a crazy new relationship-of-sorts with Robert, her “manny” played brilliantly by Jerry O’Connell.

“Harry’s sister Kate surprise visits Harry and Joss and exposes problems she is having with her fiancé. Meanwhile, Joss struggles with celebrating her engagement with Harry. April gets an exciting opportunity to apply for a painting fellowship, while Marc has success joining a band. Karen struggles with her new role being known as a “sexpert,” and she gets closer with the male “manny” Robert.”

This episode should do a rather magnificent job setting the stage for what is going to be coming up the rest of the way this season. All you should ultimately know here is that no matter what happens, it will probably twist and turn a few more times over before we get to the end of the season. How could it not? This is the culture that the show has established over the course of three years.
