‘Major Crimes’ season 5 spoilers: More scoop on upcoming episodes!
The fifth season of “Major Crimes” is going to be coming your way on Monday, June 13 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, but for the sake of this article we’re going to be looking a little bit ahead to the future, and talking specifically about several episodes that are coming up in the early weeks of this season courtesy of a TNT press release.
Before we continue, as a reminder you can head over here to get some further scoop on “Present Tense,” which is going to mark the season 5 premiere.
NSFW (Monday, June 20) – “The murder of a detective in the Sex Crimes unit leads Major Crimes into the world of “barely legal” [adult entertainment], where they find rampant drug use and questionable ethics. Meanwhile, Rusty’s biological mother, Sharon Beck (Ever Carradine) returns with some surprising news.”
Foreign Affairs (Monday, June 27) – “After an ISIS inspired attack against a member of the US Armed Services, the FBI asks for Captain Raydor’s help in finding a terrorist, joining the Bureau in a race against the clock before the terrorist can strike again.”
Skin Deep (Monday, July 11) – “When Flynn looks into purchasing a new home and seeks input from Provenza and Buzz, an unexpected turn of events leads to a new investigation for Major Crimes. Meanwhile, Buzz continues to look into the circumstances surrounding his father’s murder.”
Understandably, the show is going to be taking a week off for July 4; let’s face it, would you really want to try to broadcast a new episode of the show versus fireworks? TNT would get buried, so it makes some more sense to hold off on some stories until later on down the road when there is lesser competition.

So friggin’ ready for this show to be back! Watching my streaming shows is just not doing it for me anymore. Really hoping that TNT orders more episodes of it. Twenty three would be perfect. ? This show has shown that it can maintain its ratings no matter what TNT has thrown at it.
Loving that I am hearing that TNT is promoting it on broadcast tv. They seem to be showing some investment in it…FINALLY!
