‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final results: Did Boogie Storm, Richard Jones, or Wayne Woodward win?
Tonight, the “Britain’s Got Talent” final aired on ITV, and there were several big performances that stood out from start to finish.
Going into the results portion of the program, who did we think would win the season? Probably Wayne Woodward, if for no other reason than that he performed last on the show, and more often than not, that proves to be a big asset. However, we weren’t ruling out people like 100 Voices of Gospel, Beau Dermott, Richard Jones (who was favored by many going in), or Boogie Storm. This was a season without an overwhelming favorite, and we liked that since it added a little more drama to the proceedings.
Enough introduction now: Let’s get into the results! The twelfth-place act was Mel & Jamie, and in reverse order we then had Shannon & Peter, Balance Unity, Alex Magala, 100 Voices of Gospel (shockingly low at #8), Trip Hazard (rather good for a wild card), Craig Ball, Beau Dermott, and then Jasmine Elcock.
Now, the top three! In third place was Boogie Storm, who did really well for dancing Stormtroopers! They’re going to be just fine moving forward.
The final two was Richard Jones vs. Wayne Woodward, and the winner for the season was … Richard! We have to admit we are surprised by the result, even if we picked him to win going into the show. He performed early in the night, and he did have a brief stumble with his cards. Yet, we do think that showing so much British pride, along with being a fantastic magic act over the course of the season, helped him to secure the win.
