‘Person of Interest’ season 5 spoilers: Is Finch about to do something drastic?

As we get closer and closer to the end of “Person of Interest” on CBS, there are a few different things that are going to occur. The team may be closer in some ways to restoring peace to the world, but at the same time some of the actions that we see them take may be more dramatic than anything that we’ve had a chance to see so far.

This officially brings up to the upcoming June 7 installment of the show entitled “Synecdoche,” which for those unaware means effectively a part representing a larger whole. The synopsis below suggests that in some ways, maybe Finch’s actions may be representative of so much more:

“The team must unravel a conspiracy and stay ahead of the Secret Service when the President of the United States becomes their newest POI. Also, Finch separates himself from the team and considers taking drastic action to combat Samaritan.”

There are still going to be a couple of stories to tell beyond this hour, and above all else, there is one thing that we do think we are going to see unfold as we near the conclusion: Chaos. We’d be shocked if everyone lives to see the end of this journey especially since the producers knew going into this that it would probably be the final season. They are going to hold nothing back, and you have to think that things are going to be crazier and crazier until we get to those final seconds.
