‘NCIS’ season 14: When will Mark Harmon, cast resume filming?
The thirteenth season of “NCIS” may be over, but this certainly does not mean that you will be waiting all that long to get some other news on the CBS crime drama!
Based on when the show returned for season 13 this past summer, we have to assume once again that the middle of July is the target date. (The photo below features Pauley Perrette and guest star Jon Cryer from the start of filming last year; Cryer recurred as Dr. Cyril Taft, fulfilling a dream of something that he had wanted to do for some time after being in close proximity to some of the cast.)
Will we get some other high-profile guest stars early this coming season? We certainly hope so.
New episodes of the show will likely film for the most part up in Santa Clarita, California, which is the same place that some other classic series have filmed over the years, including “CSI,” “The Mentalist,” and others. This has been a great locale for CBS TV Studios for quite a long time, and we don’t see that changes.
For now, the only thing that we can assume we’re going to get some more of in season 14 is Gibbs (Mark Harmon) working alongside Sarah Clarke and Duane Henry, who surfaced in the final two episodes of season 13. While it was not officially confirmed that they will be series regulars for the new season, it’s very much assumed that the story is heading in that direction. Unless there was some disaster, the plan for the two was to make them series regulars.
Once “NCIS” actually does return to film, rest assured that we’ll have some other news at this link! Also, you can sign up over here to secure some more TV news on all we cover, sent right over to you via our official CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)

Why is it that the tiva fans feel THEY are the only ones entitled to a “happy ending”? With the retconning they got with FF they’ve had two bones thrown now.
DiNozzo (and MW) and his fans have been totally dishonored & disregarded by GG and his comfort food bs.
Thankfully at least CBS/Les Moonves doesn’t believe in wasting good and Michael Weatherly’s new show “Bull” looks to be all kinds of awesome

I tuned in for some of Michael’s last season but now realize the producers don’t care about what the fans need so I won’t be back. I hope you’re happy MR. Glasberg you ruined an era for me with that ending. You could have put the fans above your ego and gave the Tiva fans a happy ending but you wouldn’t do it. CBS and Les Moonves have lost a loyal CBS fan, for good.
