‘The Musketeers’ season 3: Show exec teases big ending
The upcoming third season of “The Musketeers” is going to be coming up on BBC One this weekend, but this is not going to be your ordinary season of the show by any means. After all, that is what happens when it is the last for your series on the air. You have to figure out a way to tie up many of your stories, and also construct them in a way that will satisfy your fans, and that is not always easy.
The good thing is that the people working behind the scenes at the show had enough of an opportunity to know that the show was ending that they could star to plan with it in mind. Speaking on this subject to Digital Spy, executive producer Jessica Pope had the following to say:
“The brilliant thing was, once we did know it was going to be the last season, we could play to that. so instead of doing a rather unsatisfying ambiguous end, we knew we could do something extraordinary – which we have done.”
As for whether or not all fans will really be satisfied, that is something we won’t know for quite some time. The only thing that we do know for certain is that we’re in an era where every person thinks that a series finale should be catered to their interest and their interest only. As a result of that, there are so many negative opinions that come out, and so many of them don’t even feel justified.
