‘Supernatural’ season 12: When could Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki return to The CW?
Tonight, the story is over on “Supernatural” season 11, and with that we presume that there is going to be some sort of face-off / showdown involving Amara like nobody’s business. The show always has a knack on delivering crazy season-enders, and to go along with that, creating some very interesting setups to future seasons of the show.
Speaking of which, let us take a moment to rejoice in the fact that “Supernatural” is already confirmed to be coming back for a season 12! That was announced some time ago, with stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles returning to do more of what they do best: Solve mysteries, destroy monsters, and be more or less awesome every step of the way. It takes a real group of wizards to keep a show on the air more than a decade, but for a genre show, it’s almost unheard of. These actors deserve a ton of credit, but so do the writers and producers for finding new ways to shake things up.
When it comes to shake-ups, be ready in particular for a big one moving into the start of the twelfth season in terms of the schedule. While the show will be back this fall, it will be doing so in a new timeslot Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern after “Legends of Tomorrow.” We don’t imagine that this is going to be too big of a factor when it comes to the ratings, largely because this is a show that has definitely overcome so much more than this … including a move to Friday nights, where few shows ever survive.

This show really SHOULD end. Yeah, there some fans who that think the show is better than Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, but the show NEVER breaks even 2 million viewers! NEVER! Where are all those fans when the show is on??? In contrast, Supergirl’s lowest rated week was 6.11 and CBS cancelled it! I think SPN used to be great during the first five seasons but after that it became awful. The acting just sucks. Crowley is good and so was Rowena but that’s it.

And no offense to Supergirl, but once it hits the CW it won’t get half that ratings share (and even half will only be for the 4-way crossover nights). It’s not a big network, it’s not shown in all areas and a lot of people steer awa from genre shows unless they involves cops or doctors.

ok I love the show it has been around a long time when and if they want to say good bye they will if you people don’t the show just don’t watch it and just live Jensen jared the hell alone the show has more years to come and Jensen voice is not fake charlene

Dear God I hope this show FINALLY ends next season! It’s so awful it’s just embarrassing. Jensen and Jared are TERRIBLE actors. Jensen faking that dumb deep voice is so stupid. And the writing is HORRIBLE. Come on! GOD . . . HIS freakin’ SISTER??? How many sharks do ya have to jump before you get CANCELLED????

David Latch, SPN won’t be cancelled until the CW has drained every single drop of profit out of it. And so, until that You Are Not Alone mental health rollout is completed. So when the show is finally cancelled, the CW can protect itself from fans who didn’t get a life who decide to commit suicide. This is a strange and dangerous fandom.
Since you like to dis Jensen’s voice I bet you just love mishmash’s monotone. I was with you until you started dissing Jensen. Ah, I hear the squeal of a frustrated shipper. I’ve seen your post before, under another name. News flash: destiel will NEVER become canon. Deal with it.

Yes, on any other network (except maybe FOX), it would have been cancelled due to ratings. But on the CW it’s a solid ratings earner, literally whether you like it or not.

Simple answer to your problem, dude: if you don’t like it, don’t watch. I can pretty much guarantee the actual fans of the show (and there are a lot of them)…won’t miss you. Not one tiny bit.
