‘Agents of SHIELD,’ ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ ‘Beauty and the Beast’ seasons heading to Netflix in June

Netflix -If you’re feeling slightly bummed-out about June being a quieter month when it comes to TV, rest assured that we’ve got a way for you to perk up and smile: It’ll be a tremendous month to catch up via Netflix!

Let’s start here with a fan favorite show (especially on this site) in “Beauty and the Beast.” The same day that the show is returning to The CW on June 2, the entire 13-episode third season will be available on the streaming service. Maybe there’s not enough time to catch up there before the premiere if you’re a full season behind, but it could be useful if you are a week or two behind, or can DVR the season 4 premiere so that you can catch up.

In the realm of catch-ups, the sixth season of “Pretty Little Liars” will be available on June 2, as well. There’s a little more time between this and the June 21 premiere to catch up, and that’s probably a good thing given that there are in this case 20 episodes to digest.

Elsewhere, we are pleased to see that ABC is continuing their recent season of posting marquee shows on Netflix rather quickly as compared to some other networks. The latest seasons of “Scandal” (June 11), “Agents of SHIELD” (June 16), and “Grey’s Anatomy” (June 18) are going to be available sooner rather than later. There’s no really hurry on “Scandal” since it will not return until 2017, but we hope that viewers do catch up quickly on “SHIELD” since it deserves to be getting better ratings than it did during most of the second half of the season.

Of course, don’t forget that the new season of “Orange Is the New Black” starts streaming on June 16.
