‘Britain’s Got Talent’ lineup: Alex Magala, Another Kind of Blue, Ian & Anne performing in live show #2
For the first edition of the “Britain’s Got Talent” live shows on Sunday, we saw the show in some ways quickly transition into “Britain’s Got Singers” as the entirety of the acts who advanced were ones who went out on the stage and did something with a song and a microphone.
While not everyone out there may want to hear it, it certainly looks as the moment like it’s possible two more singers will advance from the group below; if nothing else, there are four or five acts we can see in contention, which is far better than what we had on Sunday.
Alex Magala – Sword-swallower. We’ll enjoy it. Everyone else will probably hate it.
Another Kind of Blue – Innovative dance act. We’ve seen the American version in Blue Journey, so we feel like there’s a good chance they will advance.
The Garnett Family – Family group. They’re nice, but we really don’t need more singers in the next round.
Ian & Anne – David Walliams’ Golden Buzzer act. They’re a singing husband-and-wife duo who are sweet, even if they’re not particularly great.
Mythical PSM – Fun dance trio. They’re not amazing dancers, but they have a lot of humor and personality.
Rachael Wooding – Singer. She’s got a good chance of advancing, as well! She has experience performing on stage!
Shannon and Peter – Ballroom dance duo. They’re a little older than the standard pair, and we think that adds to their overall appeal.
Vitaly Voronko – Accordion guy. Zero chance we see him move on.
Wayne Woodward – Singer, who has a distinctive Frank Sinatra-esque voice.
